Bird, Bat and Squirrel Boxes
In February 2023, we made boxes for the wildlife in the churchyard. Paul had spent weeks making up kits for us to assemble! He used old wood from the pews that were removed during the refurbishment of the church. As you can see, this was great fun and everyone had a go!
Our intrepid Eco Church group wasted no time in getting these boxes in place around the churchyard, ready for the start of nesting season. It was important to make sure the boxes were facing in the right direction and locations for the birds and bats.
There are now 9 new bird boxes, 2 bat boxes and 1 squirrel box in the churchyard. See if you can spot them all, when you visit!
